Milton at a Glance
Milton is one of the fastest growing cities in Canada, with a growth rate of more than 56%. Named after the English poet John Milton, the town was settled by Jasper Martin an early developer and entrepreneur who built a mill along the banks of 16 Mile Creek in 1821. Although, Milton has seen tremendous growth over the past decade, and buying and selling in the Milton real estate market has been brisk. Nevertheless it continues to maintain the small town country charm and character that has made the Milton a great place to raise a family.
Located on the Niagara Escarpment in the Greater Toronto Area, just west of Toronto, this diverse town has become a popular place in which to live. The population has increased to over 102,000 in 2015 which has made Milton one of the fastest growing places to live in the country, and is planned to continue to grow at one of the quickest paces in the GTA.
The Town of Milton is centrally located and has become a great place for those who prefer a Suburban lifestyle to that of a large metropolitan area. The town has attracted many, mainly due to its convenient location and access which is near most of the 400 series highways, including 403, 407 and the 401.

With imany parks, trails, green space and scenic views in Milton including the 885 kilometre Bruce Trail which runs along the Niagara Escarpment. Beautiful conservation areas including:
Kelso/Glen Eden Conservation area is located in Milton at 5234 Kelso Road and  has a fully equiped Ski facility for the winter enthusiast, mountain bike trails, hiking trails, parks and a lake with a beach that you can take the kids for a swim, canoeing or paddle boat rides, whichever you prefer. Rattlesnake Point located at 7200 Appleby line is a great place to hike or have a picnic and enjoy its scenic elegance. 
Crawford Lake is another conservation area known for its beautiful and scenic views, was named after the family that lived on the site.
 

Hilton Falls

Hilton Falls known for its 10 metre waterfall and its hiking trails, offers beautiful scenery and many great hiking trails, culminating with a great view of the waterfall.
